I've been there did that on my craftsman ys mower and the poulan XT mower only thing is that I had to do it while laying on the concrete floor

Awesome brother, thank you so much!!! I have the same mower that I just got used and it's smelling like burning rubber - the main pulley is really hot after running it for a few minutes. Further investigating right now...

I have the same mower. I replaced the belt but still having some problem with it not pulling correctly. Sometimes, reverse does not engage unless I put it in forward first. Also, it seems to drive slow if I don’t push the shifting lever forward by hand. Acted similar before I changed the belt. Hoping I did not get the wrong belt from the parts house and it have a bad transmission.

Hi, I just purchased a Tecumseh ride on. It has a Spicer transmission and Tecumseh 13HP engine. On the rear fender it says 13/98. I haven't owned a ride on before and purchased it as a ride on for our community garden. I have just ordered a new carb but it didn't have a drive belt on it when I got it and I am finding it difficult to be able to find any info online. It does look very similar to this one underside but has no headlights and a large "Colt Power" sticker on one side of the plastic hood. Does anyone have a link to a manual online or know much about these?
