Okay nice job 👏 on doing the transmission pan & gasket applying it dry, I rather myself vacuum out the tranny fluid instead of pan slipping while on my back unbolting it, comments back are welcome 🙏

This looks exactly like the replacement filter for my 2003 1500 4x4 SLT 5.9. Is this the same transmission and is it safe to use this video as a reference?

Why didn't you drain from the drain plug first before removing the whole pan?
