This video shows you how to install new TRQ oxygen sensors on your 2003-2007 Honda Accord. The Oxygen (O2) sensors help monitor the emissions system in your vehicle. They measure the amount of oxygen passing through the exhaust, which informs the computer about proper fuel/air mixture, and the condition of the catalytic converter. Over time, the sensors may fail due to contamination, or reaching the end of their service life. TRQ offers new O2 sensors made to manufacturer’s specifications.

At the muffler shop , mechanic couldn't get this to fit to connector... The old 02 sensor had 4 hole plug for my honda accord 2004 lx 2.4 engine... ?

Do you have to change both up and downstream sensors at the same time? or can you just replace the o2 sensor that shows a code ? My 2007 Honda accord 2.4 liter had the catalytic converter stolen and they put an “aftermarket” kind and didn’t tell me that aftermarket ones might not pass smog but at the same time the engine light came on a week after I got it back from shop and I had it checked with the OBD sensor and it showed “Bank 1” sensor having an issue but not “Bank 2” they replaced Bank 2 on the cat when they fixed my car but did not replace “bank 1” for whatever reason and bank 1 is showing up as a code. They also put a different“Brand” of an O2 sensor into “bank 2” on the cat and maybe that’s why it’s showing a code as well because Bank 1 is the OEM and never been changed and the new one on the Catalytic itself is brand new and a whole other brand name. I just wanna be able to pass smog and not have to burn through gas so fast but I have no choice atm and I wanna try just getting a new O2 sensor for Bank 1 air/fuel and hope it fixes the check engine light for good but I’m not a mechanic so I have no idea if it’ll work and also allow me to pass smog with an after market cat that I wasn’t aware might not pass smog lol nobody said anything and acted like my car was good to go and I even had to get “ReBar” welded onto the cat so it doesn’t get stolen. But there’s no leaks either it’s been checked for all that. Just my front sensor “Bank 1” air/fuel. If anyone reading this has knowledge about it, please let me know !!
