Great detail and all, but I wish he had given a hack if the window is stuck down. He said, “the window must be up for this.“ What if the motor died while the window is down?

Thank you for taking the time to make this video! My window made a few grinding noises and then stopped working. Turned out to be broken cable. Your straight forward and well explained video allowed me to install a new regulator without any problems.

Soooo... the regulator is broken, which is why we're doing this job. How do I make the regulator go down to disengage from the window?

My passenger side fell down with out knowing why. So I watched the u tube to replace. Seeing a window that works not in the down position. Looking more into the problem deeper. Seeing the cables were meshed into holding the window down, n couldn't get window up. Procedure I took was cut the cables n push window up. Tried tape but wasn't the support I needed. Took a measurement bottom window to the base. Used zip cords to hold my 4x4 n screw to keep the board from going side to side. My part hasn't been offer to replace. Dealing with weather conditions to hold window up till regulator is order. Hard part done. Show a window that's stuck in the down ward position not a window that works for easy excess. Thank you I did mine a bit diffent but sill solved the problem n window holding up in fix postion for now.

There is a better way to get the door handle off. You ain’t gotta do all that. The side with two tabs you can push in and get the whole handle to slip out of the panel. I’ve done it many times working on my trucks

Did all this only to find out that either the switch went out or the wiring. I knew to test the new motor before replacing everything, but I forgot. I ordered a new switch. Hopefully that's it. Otherwise I'll need to take it to a professional.
