Thank you for taking the time and helping in fighting inflation by avoiding overpriced dealerships. Please note that the two bumper 10mm screws are difficult to remove for some and difficult to reinstall, so allow enough time. I had to access mine through the wheel cover and still gave me a hard time

Gotta love that you have to remove 128 bolts/screws, and take off the whole front end just to get to a washer fluid tank. Brilliant design Honda. LOL

While it seems like a lot it really isnt that bad as long as you have a little bit of handiness and take a little time. I had to do this procedure twice short of replacing the reservoir . This was due to an accident the car was in and the delay in getting the painted bumper shipped to us (was min of 3 months to get repairs done by a shop and at 4 times my total costs). So I fixed the existing bumper so it was drivable off the truck. When the bumper came I did this entire procedure again along with the new reservoir. Mind you after an accident the bumper came on and off pretty easily so Id say for most this isnt too hard to complete.

You should try changing the reverse light.You need to take front and back seats out,drop the gas tank along with removing the exhaust,then you take the driver side doors off along with the steering wheel.Then you have to take your midget out of the trunk and he will finish the job.

Last weekend I topped up with washer fluid. Then couple of days later it was a -20C overnight. In the morning, there's dripping of front right wheel. What else could it be @ -20C....washer fluid! I just removed the fender cover underneath and peeked, there's ton of it, still full. So the portion that dripped out is from the top half of the reservoir joined by the rubber grommet. I suspect it had become brittle temporarily at extreme cold temperatures. Good for now....

Hi. Great video!!!! I have an 08' Honda crv and one of the ports broke off somehow. The 2 ports that the rubber hoses plugs into. One of them broke off. I've owned the car about a year now and never knew it until now. I thought I was just low in fluid. Can you buy that part separately? The reservoir look to be ok. Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks. Mike

This is pretty awful design from Honda. On most of the cars I have owned the bottle and pump are accessible by removing the wheel arch trim after putting the front wheel on full lock or removing it. I have a drip from my 2008 but I think it can stay as it is for now after watching your excellent video.

I'd probably put a straw in the broken part and put the hoses on the straw then tape it Or order the lines if you want to do it for real
@ashton353 жыл бұрын
For something like this that doesn't build pressure, you can tape/rig something Anything more serious and it should be done properly
