on a bare die application, you really want to spread the paste, if on an IHS you don't have to. You should have spread the paste out in this case.

@@C4InHaggis I guess it makes sense. I don't know exactly how similar these consoles are built but very strange that so many of these issues are the exact same regardless of console within the last couple years. Anyway have a good one gamer man

@@dacedave4161 factory use cheap paste that barely do the job 2bh. Always good after a year or so to do this & a good clean out as they build up dust & block the vents. I do this with my consoles, only here for how to take apart as this is my latest console I purchased from a friend.
