From the looks of it seems that there's potential for a good engineering hack to add 1 or two more batteries of the same type mounted there... then maybe a cross-over switch to manually select which ones to use (or wire them in series, but don't know if the charging electronics would deal with it properly)... outside of cost wonder why such a small battery and why not offer upgrades for more revenue? I'm sure there's some decent reason?

Sorry for being late. The mentioned battery does not not provide power for the main drive train. It is used for 12V lights, board electronics, etc. The battery for the drive train has a higher voltage. A second battery has to be wired in parallel. Would be interesting though.

@@sorglos4332 thanks, indeed need to be parallel, quick typing and failed EE day 1 lesson. I’m guessing that’s a much larger pack and not something one would fiddle with.

Basically but in NL the Ami base prices at 12.5k euro and the Opel at 8.5k (or about 9.2k for the upgraded "techno" model)... no idea why such a gap
