Okay, now I'm actually curious...why should the Stage 3 filter go on first and does the Stage 2 one ever need changing?

I only needed to replace the stage 1 and 3’s that day. The stage 2 would’ve been replaced second if I had to do all 3, as it’s usually done in reverse order!
