I have bought a new black version 4 after the siver version 3 broke down and over heated ,The black version runnes a lot cooler by 30 C that the silver V3 Windows 10 22H2 version works fine

Ok what if I have screwed up and downloaded it all over my computer And my op system is 10 pro but started with 7 8 8.1 Xp 10 10 pro I can clean up the computer but how do I wipe the dongle This time no smoking my medicine until I up and running

My AirSpy SDR# does not stay in WFM mode when receiving NOAA sats. It jumps to USB mode. How can I solve this?

The Amazon seller claims the black version is an improved newer model, even though the silver model is more expensive. Any advice which one is better?

The only difference between the Black RTL-SDR v3 and the original silver units, is the tuner chip. Since the R820T chips are no longer available, all SDRs have moved over to the R860 instead (this goes for NooElec & Airspy devices as well). This does not impact the performance in any way & many sellers are claiming that black version is " improved newer model " which is not !!!

i downloaded the software for this device and it crashed when I tried to change frquency, I read there is a bug in the software and they are working on it. I later read on another site where a guy downloaded an olderv fersion and that worked, so I did the same and have not had a crash since.
