Why do you have to change that fluid and if so, how often do you have to change that fluid?
@TheYotaChannel10 ай бұрын
The coolant can become more acidic over time and lose its rust-inhibiting properties, causing corrosion. Corrosion can damage the radiator, water pump, thermostat, radiator cap, hoses, and other parts of the cooling system. It is recommended at 100k miles

At 4:30, you just started the car, correct? No need to put it in maintenance mode?
@TheYotaChannel5 ай бұрын
The inverter cooling system has a separate water pump that operates even with the engine off. If it was the engine, you would need to.

I just did this process for my car, and wasn’t fast enough to top off the coolant. The pump made a sucking sound for about 5 seconds before I filled it. Is this harmful to the pump? The car seems to be running fine after a test drive. Thanks
@TheYotaChannel7 ай бұрын
The minute you start the car, the inverter water pump does suck the coolant up quickly. It made that sound because the pump was operating with no coolant going through it. If it was only for a short period of time, i wouldn't worry about it.

Yeah, unfortunately you did some damage. Next time, get one of them big funnels that locks onto the reservoir so you can have excess fluid sitting in the funnel when you start the engine.

1.How many litters for inveter and how many litters for the engine? 2. For bleeding inverter, should the car be in maintenance mode?
@gabrielo89227 ай бұрын
Brake cleaner?!?! Oh no, that stuff damages plastic and rubber parts. It should never be used in the engine bay. Read the directions. They always say to protect rubber and plastic components when spraying. You should use a mild soapy water. Better yet, use a funnel and don’t make a mess in the first place.

Hey DO NOT use brake cleaner on anything but metal. It will permanently damage plastic and cause cracks over time. Also, some brake cleaners include products that will eat your paint like brake fluid. Always read instructions. Def remove that part of the vid before someone gets that on their car.
