Thanks for making this. Just bought a BMW with a key fob that looked like the one in the video. Swapped out pads too and the video eliminates some questions I had. I bought the same replacement pads for $6.99 on Amazon. Went pretty easily. The only thing I’d add to the video is to pay particular attention to the notched portion of the old piece that secures the chip. Take a pic before taking it out. The replacement doesn’t accommodate for that. So in addition to trimming the pink light section (not required), take an exacto knife to trim enough on the new piece to approximate the notched section. The chip should fit securely and snug. Works great!

My key fob was totally different but it looks the same at the outside... still the vid was pretty useful and i managed to replace the buttons without fucking up everything. Thanks man
