How to repot bonsai mini Chinese elm

Here is a shohin mini Chinese elm that I repotted during the winter repotting season. The pot is a handmade pot made by Melbourne potter Marg Fenn. I think it compliments the tree perfectly.

Isn’t it a little early to repot? Has it started pushing buds?

It is a little early but its all about time for me. I'll run out of time to repot all my trees over the free weekends that I have available. These could wait a couple more weeks but I am usually done all my decidious repotting by end of July. Sometimes we could have a warm few days in August and everything pops early.

Beautiful lil tree!!!. I wish we could have them but in zone 2 too hard to dormancy them properly. 2yrs 3max and they are toast.
