wow, this kid is seriously underrated. He's better than quite a few "personalities" that I can think of. That tree was legit

Really nicely done video. The long informal takes were really helpful. They made it easier to understand your thought process and technique. I found it to be informative on many levels. Have to get some of that paste now. 🙏🏻

Really great job in many ways. The tree is wonderful. Your explanations are always very clear and precise. I live on the west coast of Florida and would like to visit your shop someday. It's great to know young people are so into bonsai.

I've been doing bonsai for about ten years. I have almost 100 trees. I watch bonsai videos from all over the world. I can tell you your technique, delivery, subject matter, etc., are the best I've ever seen. Clear, precise, understandable. You pack your videos with so much information...wiring, trimming, composition, viewing angle and concept, AND you have the balls to make BIG cuts that scare the begebbers out of us amateurs. Good for you, Kid. Plus that's a cool tee shirt. By the way, where are you from? I notice a slight accent.

Thanks for the video. Didn't know the wire-bending trick to see if it's the right strength. Keep up the good work. Wish you had more hardy trees, cause i don't have the opportunity to grow tropicals efficiently. Our Winter are too hard...

Have you done a pointsettia. I started a windblown root over rock pointsettia last winter, and I was curious if you had any advice on the tree.

I just got some baby 1 gallon shimpaku and want to do a variety of long term projects with them... what would you suggest doing tackling a root over rock shimp this young and small... could I take a lot of soil out and wrap around a rock now and burry deep?

Nice video.. Enjoy all your videos just one suggestion, please have a flat neutral colour background rather then this textured bamboo one. We will be able to branches and structure of the tree better.

I’m in Florida also and was going to purchase a Chinese elm to add to my collection. Do they do ok with our humidity?? I’ve seen some at various nurseries and they always look to have burnt leaves. I just don’t want to buy one if it won’t do well in zone 9B thanks

Hey Jerome, Very nice tree! Congrats! I liked the way you defoliate, very practical. Any special care to not damage the buds?
@WeareTheBonsaiSupply6 жыл бұрын
Luiz Buzzo Hey Luiz! When I defoliate by pulling off the foliage like I did I make sure that there are no new buds present. If there are buds present I pull each leaf off individually

The color of the trunk of the tree you work on is relative to the palm tree and bamboo fence ,I suggest that the color of background is in contrast with the tree you work on so viewers can easily appreciate the prominence of your work.Anyway it's a beautiful bonsai .

Hey Jerome do you grow this tree year round without any kind of dormancy?
@WeareTheBonsaiSupply5 жыл бұрын
Hey Bezalei! Deciduous trees go in to dormancy twice a year in Florida, one time in winter and another time in July for a short period of time

You could use a simple background that shows the tree better as you work on it. That fence and palm tree are distracting. Quality work on that tree!
