We are so lucky... I swear me and my husband are the only people looking for vintage clothing around where we live. For example, on Saturday we picked up a huge box AND tote full of vintage 90s nascar T-shirts, about 75 of them! We only paid about $40...It was insane! We also picked up over 100 vintage trucker hats at the same place, and paid $25 for the whole lot.

I just paused the video, ( not able to catch you live this week) and tried the method Alli described where you do a search, I used men's polo shirts $30-$50 to find brands to BOLO, and there were several I never heard of that I have seen thrifting.... leaving money on the table. Thanks, I won't do that again!!

Yes! I made a video a while back telling my people this same thing! You have to spend the time researching things. You can’t just look things up right on the spot in the store. Get a general knowledge base about a multitude of categories.

I found a little honey hole charity thrift store that has a ton of vintage clothing. They have a fill a brown paper bag with clothing every 4th Saturday for $10. I got 2 bags of mostly women's & the avg price ended up right at .50/pc. I'm going back this Sat to get some, hopefully, cool men's stuff. I wasn't even looking at men's but I have learned so much from you guys that I feel confident sourcing for them now. Unfortunately, they are located in a bldg that I can't get any phone svc. So getting comps is not an option. So this will be a test for me, lol. Thx guys, you are both awesome.

in a future video, could you guys please make a all shoes video? just a simple list of brands to look out for and how to research an item, and also, any chance you guys can do a video for getting stains off of clothes and shoes. I remember you did one in the past. but I can't find it, idk why. was hoping you could do a before and after getting the stains out. show us your process and hacks and show the end results. any info would be extremely helpful. I find good stuff but pass cause I'm not confident if I can get the stain out or not.

Steph*415 no worries, so it just means looking the item up on eBay and sorting by “sold” results to see how much the item has sold for in the past

large boxes, contact a box salesman. Yes this is real. They can give you great thick boxes that last years or cheap boxes for shipping. Wax coated for cold etc. They will really help. I ship thing for industrial construction. I can use a box to ship a house or I can get a box for my tool room that will take a beating.

I tried doing "Free Shipping" on all my items....but almost lost my shirt!!! The only way I can see to do it is to raise your item price high and then that covers the shipping....but then nobody buys because your items are priced higher than the other sellers!!! Any ideas?

It's pretty simple, the prices are not higher with free shipping, they are the same. If a seller has an item listed for $35 + $5 shipping and we list the same item for $39.97 free shipping, what's the difference? Other than a better deal with free shipping for the buyer.

RALLI ROOTS I bought a Kids Company full size quilt with skirt to resell. $79.00 was a good price, but then I found out the shipping cost was $64.00. Guess I need to sell it locally. Shipping costs these days are crazy. I had a business 20 or so years ago where i manufactured small home decor items and sold them wholesale to gift shops and catalogs. I could send out a 15 lb. box for $9.00 through UPS. I’m blown away by shipping costs these days, crazy, 😜

Today at salvation army, they like to post an exception color tag. meaning half off everything except that certain color. today was blue. and ALL the good stuff I found was a blue tag and too much to make any reasonable profit. same thing with goodwill. all the good stuff is always the color tag that IS NOT the color of the week. and once again cost too much to make a profit. gonna hit them both in the morning in hopes I get lucky

Has anyone heard of Goouch? I found one. It’s a 100% silk men’s shirt and super ugly lol I’ve found other that say they are vintage but I cannot find this one anywhere. Have no idea if it’s worth anything or if it will sell. Total newbie. Learning a ton from this channel. I don’t think anyone is reselling in my area. I found so many tommy Bahamas in floral L-XXL.
