This procedure is not a reset at all.the test page came out contains all the info like how many times catrige being refilled(71 and 72 in test page),how many pages printed (21 in test page). In overall this is for a hp technician to know that how that printer is used . If it is refilled with third party ink ur printer warranty screwed. If it printed much number of pages he will tell u that u need catridge replacement. Basically catridge blinking is a software or firmware installed bound to happen after certain numbervof prints set by hp company.they just want to invest your money in their catridge stuff even if your printer is good in every respect..
