The check engine light always runs a diagnostic check when u turn they key to the on position

Were u able to get to the oil life percent remaining on the menu? Theres also another way to do it..where u hold the start stop button without pressing brake pedal til dash lights up...then within 5 seconds press the accelerator pedal to the floor and let go...3 times within those 5 seconds

@@backyardchevy328 yes I have the percentage remaining on the screen and did what you suggested. The only thing is maybe I should hold start button longer. Will try again tomorrow.

@@mikeandcarlagratton9802 yea if u press the start stop button for less than 5 seconds itll be in accessory mode..pressing it over 5 will put it into service mode which lights up everything and lets u reset the oil percentage
