It's Microsoft account and i have not created any local account. I didn't try this method as I have read on Google that it doesn't work in win 11 (utilman and cmd rename etc process)

@@22rohitshinde36 if you want to recover data. Just install the new operating system on exiting hard drive without formatting. Once installed all your data will be in a folder called “old windows” then go to “User” and find all your data there. Caution, be careful, don’t delete or format the drive.

@@RepairYourSelf yeah i did but still had no luck. " EVENTUALLY I FOUND A SOLUTION !! " , if cmd isn't popping up from lockscreen, I did system restore to undo the whole utilman del and ren commands and started afresh but this time around booted into cmd using a flash drive since mine was also requesting administrator password, the trick is windowspowershell also once I was able to get cmd on lockscreen I used different commands since those somehow weren't doing anything but were being recognized by the system, I used " control net user administration password " e.t.c , thank you for the follow up man , you rock 👌.

If the account is with Microsoft account linked, you cannot able to access the CMD, it asks for password again

That’s right. I’ve mentioned that I video as well. Microsoft account is very easy to reset. Just press forgot password and follow the reset instruction on screen.
