Thank you , I have an 04 Lincoln LS and I could not figure this out for the life of me.. So I watched your video, it took me a minute to see what you were doing lol. and on mine the hazard button is setup on or behind the steering wheel.. Well key in alarm lit up and press that flasher once and boom started right up!! This particular car locks the ignition so it would not be wise to unhook your alarm. so thank you OP for such a helpful post!! Also for anyone else with the same make and model, if your alarm goes off while out side, use your driver door keylock and driver key to unlock the door, it will shut it off, but to start your car again you must do the flasher trick! mine hasnt gone off since.

I know this is not related to this video but, would you know if I changed my negative battery cable connector which is lead free to a lead connector, would it make a difference? I know it came with the car for a reason. I just don't know why. Thanks again for this and the other videos. 2006 Impala LT 3.9 automatic.

everyone using wire made from copper or aluminum and a non-lead wire are still new ... emmm I don't know how to answer your question, maybe you have to google more for some clue

I’m surprised this video didn’t start with this guy being born, then having the camera on him until he reached adulthood, then showing the alarm trick. This could have been explained in two or three sentences taking far less than one minute.

is a Proton you don't need an alarm. Just put a sticker "Please don't steal this car today."

Battery terminals become corroded because somebody broke the seals around the post, allowing acid to escape. This generally happens when people pry the clamps off without using a battery clamp puller. If you've seen battery clamp pullers before and wondered why they exist, this is why. They have hooks that go beneath the clamps and pull them straight up without breaking the seals. You're welcome.

put in your car key and then turn on until stage 2 . stage 3 are where your start up your engine and when your key are still at step 2, press the alarm reset button somewhere in your car and when your hazard light stop blinking you can be able to start your engine

Omg your awesome! My car alarm hasn't been working so I finally bought a battery for remote but that did not work. Came across your video followed your steps and wallah like magic problem solved. It did take me a 2nd try. I only had the hazard button to deal with and no extra buttons but it worked I'm good to go thanks

I apologise for the name calling but you have to understand I am so tired of wanna be you tube heroes it's not necessary to turn off all lights ignition etc. Almost anybody knows do not ground a battery first to avoid any damage to your electrical or yourself possitive first

I've been working with high voltage electrical component for quite some time now and due to that circumstance,I'm a very careful person when dealing with tools and because my safety dependent on its and may be its was my habit to connect ground first before life wire or maybe I didn't even think when connecting the battery terminal due to it small voltage ...
