Tbh I only turn chat off on my widow account (I'm so bad at widow but didn't want to show that on my main 💀) but on my main (I play support btw) I have it on because somehow I just keep meeting sweet people, like a mercy who I talked to about kuromi (don't judge), tank/dps players who are sweet and thank/endorse me, I even made friends with a genji in comp who was in my game twice in a row, once on my team and once on the enemy (we still play to this day and hes basically my duo now)
