Brilliant tutorial, thank you. 👏🏾🖤👌🏾 May I ask tho, Is it that important to take a cap size in if you are doing a fully sewn wig with no lace closure? I want to embark on pixie and tapered bob cut wigs only but not sure if the whole size of the cap would matter as much. Any advice please?

Great question! Yes, it’s still important to remove any excess cap especially for a short cut because you’ll be able to see the lumpy areas since the hair is short. This is if you’re using a mesh dome cap like in the video but you could also use a stocking cap and glue the hair on like a 27 piece (you won’t have to adjust a stocking cap). I have a super small header smaller than the measurements on this one I use a dome cap from my local hair stores they are a discerner material than the one you are using it’s that stretchy kinds that but really see through well If I do my wig the same will it work with my caps cause I noticed when I take it off the wig after finishing the cap seems to shrink until I put it on and stretch it but I’m afraid if I make sure all the assess cap is gone it’s will get to tight and and the bundles with bunch up making my wig not flat and I want to add enough bundles to be full but my cap is so small after making it custom

As long as you find a canvas head that is the same size as your head the cap won't shrink. For example, once you get a 20" canvas head, you'll just resize the cap as shown in the video. I recommend using a mesh dome cap also because they work the best for wig making. Qfitt Mesh Caps are a great find. Thank you for watching ❤
