i really dont get everybodys point about not handing your ids over, i have given them my ids all the time and they have always let me go with out any hassle. i feel the more you provoke them the more they exert that force or bully you. every cop i have encounter always starts with the forceful voice tone with me and when i speak to them calmly or try not to provoke them, they always change their tone to a calmer tone and let me go with either a warning.

The big trick with the whole 'Let me see your Identification' question is as soon as you hand your id or drivers license over they will look for discoloration on the id. If you had been drinking, alcohol goes through the pores of your fingers and into the id. Recently they added something to id's that changes its color when alcohol makes contact.

One time i had a cop behind me with his lights on on the interstate, so i pulled off the exit i was planning on taking, turned on my emergency lights and pullled over. He pulled in behind, got out of his vehicle and came to window then asked "Hey, hows it going, whats the problem?" Confused, i asked "What do you mean? I dont have a problem." "Well you put your lights on and pulled over." "Because you pulled me over sir..." "No i didnt, i pulled over because you pulled over." "Ok but your lights are on and you followed me and pulled over behind me..." "Wait what?" He then looks at his car and realizes he didnt know his lights were on, "Oh shit man im sorry, i didnt even know those were on! god knows how many people ive confused til now. Thank you!"

But i have to admit this very simple and seemingly obvious tactic never occured to me... The brilliance of it is that if you immediately pull over long before he was ready to light you up it takes him off his game.. Now if he comes up to your window and asks why you pulled over you can ask him why is he following you.. He may respond "I wasnt following you".. Now you have him on video admitting he was not following you and he was not pulling you over... Now its going to be almost impossible for him to write a traffic summons because he's admitted that he saw you do break no laws and was not pulling you over... He can try to dupe someone who doesnt know the law with "But now your making me suspicious about why you pulled over"... Here's where knowing the laws regarding lawful "Reasonable Articulable Suspicion and Probable Cause" come into play... He can "SUSPECT" all he wants... but unless he can articulate WHAT CRIME HE SUSPECTS YOU OF COMMITTING IT MEANS ABSOFUCKINGLUTELY NOTHING in a court of law or on the side of the road.. Hunches and "SUSPICION" that your "UP TO NO GOOD" is not a lawful detention and now you're not even required to give him your license because he also admitted that he didnt actually pull you over for a driving infraction.... Seriously, if played correctly this is a BRILLIANT DISARMING MANEUVER.

9:55 "Go down to the station." I have decided, after viewing many youtube videos, that to enter into the dragon's den is too risky, unless one absolutely must for some very important reason. Once in their power, and they sense that you are not their friend or at least some ordinary lowly "civilian," they may to want your ID, to have you answer questions, to empty your pockets, etc. until you convince them that you are "not a terrorist," if you ever do convince them. (In other words, you might begin and end your visit at the station with one of their psychopaths.) One should weigh the probability of success versus the risks involved and whether one should just "let it pass." As an alternative, one might consider calling their administrative number and make your opinions or concerns known that way. Thumbs up on your video BTW. .

Gavin...THANK YOU for this video. There are a TON of people out there who truly have the best of intentions, but their execution falls short when it comes to exercising their rights. They watch a few videos...then hit the streets looking for a fight. I personally have been a victim of police harassment...with a previous traffic stop having local units do a free air search because I would not answer their questions....and then...GET THIS....I was told that I would be arrested if I even LOOKED at the officer doing the free air search with his dog, despite me being 3 car lengths away...hands on the hood....3 officers present. Unbelievable corruption. And to top that off, my father is retired Idaho State Police. So I KNOW the law....and yes, officers DO NOT like being challenged....and no....they typically do NOT know the constitution or even some laws that they try to get you on. So again....thank you for all of your videos. Greatly appreciated sir!

Most Police Officers are good people that deal with trash all day. They have better things to do than deal with a minimal infraction. Yes I have dealt with some ass wholes however most are great people with Wives and Children and just want to make it thru the day and go home safe. I have no problems with most all officers and they can read your body language. I legally carry a concealed weapon and i have not been shot yet because I comply and do it with respect.

At 14 years old I was stopped at gun point to be searched for no reason ad was searched for like 15 minutes. Now I had a bright orange book bag.. And glasses.. In a call after 15 minutes of searching I hear the dispatch saying looking for male with plastic bag with a possible gun in it. Now first of all that sounds retarted .. After they searched me they wanted my info and starting by asking my name and birthday and then.. Left.. Because they relised they just searched a 14 year old at gun point.. When I went to see my parents after this incident with forgetting to mention this was 4 pm right after school they called the police and they wouldn't admit to it, never apologize to me.. Nothing.. I would of been happy with them apologizing to me but they never did and after an hour on the phone with my dad yelling because I wouldn't lie about something like this this finely admited it .. Still to this day I'm very uncomfortable driving with a police behind me.

Traffic Stops are a criminal act, compounded by betrayal of sworn Oath to the Constitution for the United States. Article VI Clause 2 establishes the Constitution as "the supreme Law of the Land". Article VI Clause 3 mandates that all public servants be required to take an Oath, or Affirm, their obedience to the Constitution, as the supreme Law of the Land. Amendment IV stipulates that Warrantless seizures of persons, is illegal. "Probable Cause" does not involve victimless acts. The word "cause" implies that a felonious criminal act - involving the unjust denial of rights to Life, Liberty, and/or Property - has already occurred, not, any Misdemeanors or Infractions. Traffic Stops are only a legitimate Authority, where Commerce is concerned. If you are stopped by police, and you haven't committed any crimes, then YOU are the victim, that crimes are being committed against.
