Balloon decor is looked upon differently than flowers, food, the DJ, etc. I quoted someone on a balloon installation (a low price) and they nearly lost their mind. People say it’s just balloons but they don’t consider what an installation entails.😑

Clients often say it's just balloons, not taking into consideration the design. They don't understand the planning and detail behind the art of the decor. There is a lot of time in preparing and executing a decor.

I find that people that actually book understand the price after they see what you produce and the work that goes into it. I explain enough prior to for those that are "my clients" to feel comfortable booking. The bargain or DIY clients with the Amazon balloon kit mentality were never going to book anyway.🤷🏽‍♀️

I used to do that a lot early on into my business. I would ask the client what their budget was and then work to provide decorations within their budget. Now, I provide my price and I’ll explain what that includes. The client has the choice to proceed…

they give a low rate intentional they just want to do diy period and that is what the industry is going to be. that is the forecast when i checked. they have seen a lot of videos and very capable i just have to change career . pricing was way better even 5 years ago
