How To Restore A S13, 180sx, 240sx Rear Subframe | Bushes, Bearings & More!

In this video we completely remove and tear down the rear end of the 180sx to replace the crusty bushes still in the car after 35 years. This is a must do for anyone with stock rear ends. The bushes after this many years are deteriorated so far and are not safe for driving. When choosing the bushes keep in mind how you intend to use the car. Solid or poly bushes will add significant NVH in the vehicle compared to factory replacements.

Great video Jarrod. Very clear and I love the fact you've done it on the garage floor like the rest of us! I'm now thinking of checking my subframe bushes on my '89 as I suspect they're flogged like yours were. Keep up the good work!

Cheers mate hopefully it wasn't too long of a video. All three S13's i owned had broken subframe bushes even when they looked good in the car. Must do modification but just expect it to take some time.
