Hi Jami and Zeb.....we are neck and neck on custom kitchens! So much fun to watch you guys do this kitchen❣️I’m finally getting measurements for quartz countertops Thursday...they said two week turn around....so awesome....we have a farm house sink like the one you just finished ( not in my wheel house so we had it professionally redone $800....still cheaper then cost of new reproduction) I purchased a claw foot tub, farmhouse sink and the lavatory sink for $300...I was amazed at how great it came up after just the professional cleaning and now it is just beautiful bright white after the coating they put on! My sink is going in my island with dishwasher to right and pull out 12 inch cabinet for paper towel holder and second shelf below....to the left...the middle of island will have raised shelf for decor between sides...then other side will have 12” deep bar ....I also have the Lavatory sink...not refinished I will just put in garage for my shop! Everything is really coming together beautifully over there....oh so worth the hard work and really paying off! We have an exposed brick wall...found behind drywall ...so we exposed it and my stove will be center of that 6’ wall with lower cabinets either side and barn wood shelving with matte black plumbers pipe and splurged on a Koehler matte black pot filler...will have to be deck mounted bc we didn’t want to tear up brick wall....custom is fun but not easy...I have designed the whole thing....we gutted kitchen mid March biggest hang u was cabinets going back and forth...finally all here ...and installed except sink base...we are going to have to cut cabinet down....oh all the fun and all the work...so excited to actually use it....I hope things go well for you...right there with you❣️Thanks for sharing😊k

Oh how I want those sinks. :( Well that does it, I'm building my house myself. We've been waiting for 10 years to build our home on our 40 acres. This land didn't have an old farmhouse on it, or an old barn, and that's what I want. This land we bought 10 years ago has a nice spacious mobile home, which we will sell, with no out buildings, but it's location is great, close to town and a view of the Rocky Mountains to the west and a lake view to the east. With birds, deer and moose visiting regularly and access to boat lunches down the road. But no old farmhouse to renovate, or big old red barn. So, now after watching this video, I'm scratching the plan of finding some over priced( to build in Alberta, plan on selling a kid) builder to get me the farmhouse I want, I'm going to start finding treasures and building it myself. If my husband thinks I'm crazy, then I'm showing him your videos. It will be, "See if they can do it, so can we". Thank you!

Jami I was yelling you need a walnut blaster. Almost like a sand blaster but you put crushed walnuts in it. I have an extra long custom made claw foot tub from 1892 that came with my Victorian. My tub is over 200 lbs. The guys that came over to take it to get refinished really struggled getting it out of my house. They told me they blast the porcelain smooth with crushed walnuts. I had to pay over $900 to get it refinished . It's beautiful now. I wish I was brave enough to have tried to do it myself. Your sinks came out beautiful and you will always remember the hard work and elbow grease you put into the making of your beautiful dream home. God blessed you and Zeb with knowledge and strength to keep on going. You're whole family is very operational. I hope you all stay safe and healthy. I love watching these farmhouse videos. When I moved to my Dads house we hired professionals to come and re porcelain his cast iron tub. They prepped & sprayed it on. It’s just my hubby & I so there’s little wear from us but it flakes off some. You get an A+ for effort but down the road you might be reapplying or upgrading.😊 but what a good way to save $$ initially. You know we’re all so excited for when you move in👏🏻

I would recommend using a straight metal pipe or your vent, you'll be able to clean it out from the roof which will be a lot easier since you boxed in everything

I was so lucky to find a double drain sink for $200 and it is in great shape and has a rusty old metal cabinet that I cleaned and painted...will use the cabinet until I find something I like better but the sink is my treasure
