Can this gel coat be polished and buffed just like normal?

I have a 2018 Travel trailer bumper pull RV with horrible pealing clear coat... do you think I could scrape off the clear coat and fix it with this?
@Rumrunner12343 ай бұрын
I’m looking at this for my all white oxidizing Rv. If I apply it, would it cause any trouble with painting the Rv in a few years? When we paint it, we’ll paint it a solid color (not white) and will want a nice gloss finish.

Can you spray it on with a paint gun?

Yes it sprays very nice! Use a 1.4 tip with 35/40 psi. No reducer needed just mix with catalyst and its ready to spray. Reach out anytime

can you wax this product after application and curing?
@Local_Boydidgood5 ай бұрын
Just use rubbing compound and get the gelcoat right. Strip it and use a marine-grade "wax". Keep things clean and use a spray detailer now and then between big washes. Wax every year and never... Google poli-glow reviews. Zep reviews from RV'rs.. If you have the energy to put wax over this, you can just do it right.

Absolutely, If you want to take it up to the next level, you can wet sand with 1500/2000 grit and buff and it will be glass slick! You can also use our “Wash & Wax” and “Ceramic Detail Spray” to maintain between washes.

I mean, why not use a spray can of clear coat, at least it has UV blockers. Or, use Zep floor wax like the RV guys do once and then refuse to ever do it again. Or Poliglow which is just as bad as Zep but more common around marinas. I'm still waiting for the self-leveling. I can get that shine and color with butter and it'll last a few months if it's avocado oil. Either Wetsanding (gross and outdated) or buffing that boat would not only have made it look better, it would have taken the same amount of time if done right. I hope people never try this but if they do, I love their comments after trying to strip and repair it when it yellows or flakes off in a few years. Perhaps I'm wrong and this is a whole new chemical but I saw marks from where you wiped it off, in your "money shot" and while it was red, again, butter or coconut oil would have done that.
