To all those watching please take note of this: If you have not updated your Google Drive backup in the last 5 months, then your backup will get deleted automatically since google autodeletes backups if they haven't been updated for 5 months. Please be warned!!!

Keep in mind that if people don't have a backup in drive they would loose it every chat. You have to check if you have back up every time you need to do anything wired.

Hello ♡ In June, my BLU phone screen became unresponsive so I had to use an old phone (Samsung S9 Plus) for WhatsApp. I had my chat backup set to daily before the phone screen died so I thought I'd get my chats back if I restored then on the S9+ but this was not this case for some reason. The last time I used WhatsApp on the S9+ was in April 2023 and only until then was restored. So, I have a 14 month gap in messages. I decided to get over it because I had exams coming up and I no time to worry about some chats so I continued using WhatsApp on the S9+ with the 14 month gap. Now, I've finally gotten a new phone but I haven't set up WhatsApp on it yet and I was wondering if there is a way to use the backups on the BLU itself (Not Google Drive) to fill in the gap in the chats. Like is there a way to somehow merge the two sets of chats? Or do I just have to live with the gap? Please help 🙏

@@palakkothari7095 Yes you can restore your chat using the app that this guy talks about which is paid one. You need to take a 1 year subscription of 20$ equivalent amount. But you should check how much data is backed up there (e.g. MB) by logging in into the app with you gmail id where your backups are. Because in my case it was showing that 0 kb is backed up. So I could not restore my chats I don't know what happened my chats are just gone forever.

Hi Paul I have a very big problem. Now you see, I accidentally changed my dad's number to that of mine. I had to unfortunately delete my account to recover it. Now, google drive isn't showing that I have any backup on it. Now, I need those chats and Media because they're really important to me. The same happened to my dad and he lost 41 GB worth of data. We both lost chats and we don't have a backup since we deleted accounts. What should we do now ? Please help Paul. I'll be obliged

What about if it continues to ask for a password and you've forgotten that password? I'm going around in circles here. I backed it all up to icloud before changing the phone. But Whatsapp is asking for a password to restore from icloud. Can anyone help? Please. I've got old messages and photos I NEED to keep.
