I liked the cat when you first bought it, David, but it looks gorgeous now, glowing in the sunlight. Excellent restoration job.

The best bits (as judged in Australia) in no particular order is Rosie getting cranky, Wendy's scrunching on the gravel as she films and David forgetting to put on safety gear. Good job team, such a fun session and the home-grown quality makes it special. And the animal was pretty groovy too :)

We try to keep it natural ( i.e no prior preparation!)

Great job, David. From wood to metal to even some stone, wire wool and a bit of polish work wonders!

Great but you could try using wire wool instead of sandpaper
@DavidHarperAntiques2 жыл бұрын
Yes, wire wool is as good. I just use what I have at the moment!

great video. Is there a reason you chiseled away at the 'carbuncles' rasher say than something like emery paper?

Will be interesting to see what the sale price is. I can’t get to a 1/4 of the asking prices on First Dibs.
@DavidHarperAntiques2 жыл бұрын
1st Dibs is often very expensive. Not really for sale this one. I’m going to keep it

Meow. Too bad no one can restore me too; I'm a bit of a rusty wreck and often call myself a cat in a girl-suit. Sounds like Rosie objects to you lavishing attention on a cat instead of on HER. Either that, or there's a malicious leaf out there somewhere.
