I saw no KZbin videos on this... at all. For any model of this watch. Maybe I missed it, but this is pretty important for if your software update fails or something.

Wow I thought it was just me! I updated the watch to Tizen 3.0.0.2, and every time I wanted to turn the watch off to charge... I'll put it on the charger and it'll turn right back on. Glad it worked out for you though.

Latrell, thank you for this!!! It all began with my Note 8 getting a virus (who knows...). Then my S3 Frontier bricked....😔. Luckily, I had the same model in your video (never happens). Tmobile (without insurance) told me I would have to contact Samsung. After reading how frustrated people are with Samsung customer service... I decided to see if there was a different way... Thanks for the useful video. I somehow missed the firmware model and I downloaded it to my R760. Now accessing either menu option it will only go to downloading screen. Unfortunately now system status is custom and reactivation lock is on. Before I messed up system status was official and lock off. Any chance to bring it back or is dead for good? I cannot connect to wifi now in any way.

Mine's in the state where it's bricked and I'm tryna re-gain access to the wireless download. Both Me and my mum have tried the method you gave on XDA (hold power for two seconds, let go, hold it for one), but it isn't searching for AP, and we've both collectively been doing it for ages. I don't know if its just that that method won't work on SM-R760 or if I'm doing something wrong, but I am honestly clueless and I'd rather not have to resort to opening up the back and soldering a USB's wires to the metal plates inside.

Hi, My watch is S3 frontier R760 so I have did following your video that was great but am missed to add file in PIT tab, every files BL AP CP etc was put in correct patch then completed the Netodin notice "PASS" in 8.30min finally my watch it does not re-do "download (wireless) again, so many time I try to flashing again its show just "Downloading" interface all the time. Latrell Jennings Latrell Jennings that’s what I was asking you, it’s one of the 4 files on the main page in the NetOdin program that you selected. I found out that it’s something only cellular models need so I was able to do it by only inputting the BL, AP and CSC files and my watch is now working. I had to do a lot of research around the web for the 770 model but I was able to put it all together through your video, thank you!

Hello, I too was having problems with my gear getting stuck at the logo screen. I followed your video and it appeared that everything was coming back on line. Throughout the day for some reason I seemed to have lost control of the power button functions, it wouldn't wake up through gesture, couldn't get to the app or power it off. I figured since I had the latest updates etc that I would back it up and then reset it through the watch commands. After doing so the watch screen said resetting and powered off. After awhile I took it off the charger, I still do not have any function with the power button. Any thoughts before I send it off?

Correct and correct. When it is on the charger it will show me the % charged when I hit the back button. Off the charger, I have tired holding the back button, back button and power button and just the power button. It is unresponsive to all these combinations.

Feel like it's a problem with the buttons. Send it to Samsung. Because that's a hardware problem.

You're not supposed to connect it to your Wi-Fi. I don't know how you can even do that. You're supposed to connect your PC to the watch.

I have used 2 different gear s3 watches and 2 different laptops... Same issue (AP MODE is on, windows have a successful wireless connectivity to the two watches but no ID:IP)
