I appreciate you making and posting this video! It would be really beneficial to the viewer if somebody were to film from an over-the-shoulder view, and zoom in on the cam when looping pegs etc. The front angle footage was difficult to follow since everything was black (string cam, and pegs), plus the guy's arm and hand was in the way a bit at times. Just a thought. Thx.

Thank you. My son accidentally dry fired when testing his strings before his camping trip and it came undone. I was able to restring it to last till he gets back and we can take it to the center.

Very Helpful video…managed to teach me how to string my son’s bow with no experience. If you update this i would recommend not using black string on black parts and showing what specific steps should look like when done.

I just got a new Genesis Original Bow. It came already assembled. I was trying to adjust the draw weight with the hex wrench but I can't move the limb bolts either direction. What do I need to do?

Just in case you haven't got an answer yet. Brand new, the limb bolts should be tightened all the way so you can only loosen them - the same direction you would any screw - counterclockwise. But it can require a strong grip on the hex key to do so. Make sure it is inserted all the way before trying to turn so you don't hurt yourself if it comes out. Remember, each bolt has to be turned an equal amount of full turns...

😂 I popped a string out of the cam and knicked my arm trying to shoot an arrow with a broken knock. I just cranked it loose with my Bowmaster bow press and popped it back on with a screwdriver. Good as new! ( This method is not safe but if the string didn’t come all the way off and is just off the cam opposite of where the loops are, then it’s possible )

You don't. That is why Genesis bows are unique. No set draw length.
