Wow this is certainly very handy as those are the exact strings I've just bought. 😁 Can I also say that you have a very infectious personality and I wasn't expecting to have fun whilst watching a video about restringing a guitar. 🤣 Good work! Isn't the thickest string the one closest to the player though? It is on mine at least. I'm a total novice so be nice 😜

@2:36 How do you get them to lye flat? I've got a Fender Squire Strat which has had the original strings on since manufacture. Recently broke a few strings and on close inspection, from the rear all of those 'balls' or 'ball bearrings' at the end of the string are more shaped like 'cans' (as in cans of fizzy drink or cans of beans). Anyway, on closer inspection they were all sitting flat or flush. When i tried to restring the guitar they were all 'wonky'. Perhaps it doesn't make much difference but to me it did. I even removed the white plastic from the rear to help guide the wires in easier. Any thoughts?

No but its better if you nick it up because it’ s out of your way when you wind it.

If u have a vintage style strat, yes. Vintage style has the string tuning peg hole on top and regular has them sticking on the side, like a acoustic,

Dagan, I could smack you. I'm stretching the new strings that you claim I can't break, and broke one. Wasn't pulling on it that hard, could have been a fluke I suppose. But I still spent a good while cursing you all the way to buy more strings to fix the one I broke. Oh well. I still like your videos. Keep them up ! I'll point out too, that I did the same new string stretching on my other guitar and had no issues.

Hi for me don,t use lemon oil on maple fret board I once did and led,s say I will never do it again .

@@scrimpmster The maple fretboards almost always have a coating/finishing on top of the light wood and using something strong like Lemon oil is not a good idea on those. Some water and a microfiber cloth should be enough for cleaning maple fretboards.

Too much time spent trying to be funny. Other than that, I like how he does the strings. Here's one last tip: After the strings are installed and snipped off, push the sharp stub down so that it won't snag the inside of your case, or worse, your hand.
