Really interesting. My wife and I (UK citizens) are are keen to retire to Italy but we have been told that the visa can take a very long time to be granted. Our worry is that we purchase a residents for circa 600,000 euro and find out that we cant get a visa.

Great video! However, the visual information and audio information are not consistent with each other. For the minimum income requirement you state for a single applicant that it is 32,000 euros per year, however the video shows "31,000 euros per year". Additionally, you state that the minimum income requirement is increased by 20% for every dependant on the application. For children, you state that you need to add 5% to the minimum for every child included, yet the video shows "20% increase from the minimum" for each child included on the application. Not sure if this is a language barrier issue or if whoever made the visual component of this video wasn't being thorough.

Ok so if I have a spouse and two children, I need to show a passive income of at least 43,432 dollars a year? I have 100% va disability which comes out to 50400, so I would pass that it seems. Now isn’t there another issue of providing health insurance? I’ve tried researching this and am unsure if my full health and dental coverage under the va, paired with the 70% coverage for dental and health for my dependents would suffice that as well? @@chickengod9184I’m assuming this was an American posting. The US is a very expensive country and has huge wage disparities. Fact is that places like Italy are actually much more affordable. Plus you don’t need a car in these countries due to superior city planning. Regardless, despite America handling inflation much better than any country due to bipartisan bills passed under Biden, we still have major issues with corporate greed in comparison to other countries with better social nets and more pro union stances. She’s has every right to be upset though I feel it is misguided - she likely blames it on the typical rhetoric rather than realizing it’s our lack of regulation and the tax cuts for the rich that have caused such disparity
