How to retrofit B pillar ambient light to the BMW F30/31

Why cant i retrofit blue light to light up, if i dont want to have orange, i retrofited in my car everything blue, and i need this one too...

need some help. i have the light package. I connect Blue with Blue/grey - Orange with Red/grey and ground to ground. LED turning on and i can change the colors. But the LEDs are still on even when my car is not running or closed. Can you help me ?

Hey, thanks. Can this lights be controlled from the iDrive unit? I can control the color and intensity of my footlights (the one under the dash of the car). I don't have the footlights (the one under the doors, when you open the door) can i still install this lights?

Hi. It can be controlled from the iDrive BUT only if you have Light Package option. Since you don't have a puddle light (under door light) you don't have a Light Package, because puddle light is part of the Light Package. I have already retroffited Puddle Light to my car and am gonna post a video soon. So, in conclusion, to be able to control B pillar light in iDrive menu, you need retrofit Ambient Light first.

@@Acelele320 Hi, thanks,. I only have the food lights under the dash, on the paddles and on the passenger side. I will retrofit the door lights first, already have them just need to install them. And then i can control all from the idrive, i can control now from the idrive, just the one over the paddles and passenger side feet.
