We have one unused seat bracket hole near the sliding door that could use a rabbet cut. Same filler from DIYvan. Do you think it’s possible to do without taking the floor out of the van?

Do you think you could put insulation under it and then use the original holes with longer screws to secure in?

Yes I think that would work. I did not add insulation because the underside of the factory floor already had some that fills the metal floor groves, and also the vinyl planks I used had some.

No Insulation??? you will regret that decision

Yeah I thought about that but felt the wood subfloor plus vinyl plank floor that includes a bottom layer of insulation was enough. So far no regrets.
