Dr. Vali, thankyu so much for the wonderful information. I'm a diabetic since last 10 years. Uncontrolled. I started taking millets one tym. Removed wheat, sugar and rice from diet with 16:8 intermittent fasting. My sugar level came to 103 from 219 and lost 1 kg in 5 days. I'm really thankful to u. Im also spreading dis knowledge to all my known people.

My father (91y) was diabetic for 40 years, introduced Sridhanya as dinner, in 6 months his sugar levels have come back to 110-130 & it now little over 1y

@@DrKhadarLifestyle My tayaji has diabetes for the last 30 years. For the last 4 years we have been giving him Jowar flour chapati. One big Jowar chapati in morning 9 AM and then something to eat in afternoon(salad/fruit etc) and then one at 6 PM in evening. His sugar level on every Saturday morning(fasting at 6 AM) used to be around 115-140 for the last 4 years. Last 2 weeks we incorporated 5 millets ambali. alternating 1 millet every 2 days.(So morning 1 Jowar chapati at 9 AM and One Big bowl of fermented Ambali in evening 6 PM with some subzi) So we observed for 2 weeks. Today(saturday monring 6 AM) his fasting sugar came out to be 362. Where as last saturday it was 192. I am really going clueless and worried now. Maybe im doing something terrably wrong but I dont know. Can anyone please help me here?

Dr. Vali Sir, I a Diabetic from last so many years and came to know about millets two years back. Unfortunately I am not aware of that schedule of consuming millets as you prescribed. So I am unable to control my diabetes and it is varying between 130 to 150 (actually it is around 175 previously). But now I have started as you prescribed along with some type of Kashayams (Neredu, Pudina, Menthi & Tippa) and from last one month and I have observed a gradual improvement. But fortunately, my Knee Joint problem came down after using the millets in a systematic manner for which I am suffering from last one year. Thank You for your unselfish service and wonderful speeches in KZbin. And I am spreading the greatness of Millets to my friends & family (who are interested).

As a young lecturer.. I worked in residential college for 2 years..In College canteen.. they always used chapthi , polished white rice to feed faculties and students. When I was stay in that college and did eat all these stuff because of these shits my sugar level disturbed but now I left those type of residential colleges and start to work in home town and use home made Millets with good fat, required amount of protein with proper diet. Health is wealth. Now, I'm ok with my food and regular workout.

But I have experienced that the BG has a spike instantly after you eat millets and after that there is no rise at all so it seems that they get absorbed really fast rather than slow digestion.

Correct same in my mother case ..Sugar increase after millets 2 hour but rest of time it's not increase..Dr khader should address this problem..

Thanks When my husband take ambali his sugar doesn’t spike more but when he eat only millets in form of dosa and idli or rice his sugar spike .plz explain why it happened. Thanks

Unfortunately so many are still not leaving those 5 white slow poisons (Rice/Wheat, Sugar, Maida, Milk & Refined Oils) even after listening about these millets and usage of cold pressed oils. I have quit Rice, Milk, Sugar, Maida completely. But, partially using refined oils which I will quit soon

Dr khadar ji I used to to take millet three month and my sugar went up, then I consulted people who gives customised diet i followed all protocol and started eating millets in ambali form but steel my sugar levels not improving, Infact eating millets feel fool and don't feel hungry and I started liking ambali, it is so tasty but I have to stop eating millets as it is increasing my sugar levels so please please help me...

Roti is not advisable because wheat contain Gluten.. Whether you have Gluten intolerance or no, Gluten is certainly bad for the gut....

Sir after taking kodo millet in first two days ambali after 1 hour blood sugar levels is 202. Before that with kerala matta rice and broken wheats the levels were around 170 after 1 hour . Should i continue millets. Is the body takes time to adjust millets. Kindly guide

Are you keeping millets upto 8 hour's in water before you cook? If not do it.first clean them and discard the water.later keep in the new batch of water and cook with the same water. It's not because of millets, it's because of other foods you eat. Only solution for acidity according to Khadar sir take millets in ambali form for 6 weeks to completely get rid of acidity.Check for videos for correct preparation of ambali

@@manpreetkaur4481 Yes, I have been using it and my father aswell who is 76 years of ago and due to high blood sugar he had a stroke and is paralysed on his right side. We use Kodo , Foxtail , Browntop , Barnyard and Little millet mixed in equal quantities to make rotis and it has helped us keep glucose levels in check. My family has been using these for the last 7-8 months and I find the results to be outstanding. Rotis will be a bit brittle but you will get used to it over time. Kneed the atta and keep it for a few hours and them make rotis and they will come out fine. It does take a bit of getting used to it but otherwise taste is ok. Another thing we have done is that we do not buy sugar at all, do not keep sugar at home so everyone who wants tea boils stevia leaves with the tea to make it sweet. Ordering these millets from Amazon is costly, if you ask your local grocery shop they will get it for you for half the price. We dont just make rotis out of these, we also get the whole millets and make Dalia with it for dinner. We normally add vegetables to this Dalia and it tastes alright. Is Bajri rotla good for diabetics type ll? Suggestions from a friend was to, take a handful n mix in eggs to get protein . U should not take as kanji,it spike the sugar, take as fermented form like idly,dosa.or as rice for lunch,it's also important to walk regularly along with this.

My tayaji has diabetes for the last 30 years. For the last 4 years we have been giving him Jowar flour chapati. One big Jowar chapati in morning 9 AM and then something to eat in afternoon(salad/fruit etc) and then one at 6 PM in evening. His sugar level on every Saturday morning(fasting at 6 AM) used to be around 115-140 for the last 4 years. Last 2 weeks we incorporated 5 millets ambali. alternating 1 millet every 2 days.(So morning 1 Jowar chapati at 9 AM and One Big bowl of fermented Ambali in evening 6 PM with some subzi) So we observed for 2 weeks. Today(saturday monring 6 AM) his fasting sugar came out to be 362. Where as last saturday it was 192. I am really going clueless and worried now. Maybe im doing something terrably wrong but I dont know. Can anyone please help me here?

First you millets soak for 8 hrs then cook, browntop for 12 hrs I am also diabetic I started morning ambali with chhanchh black salt green chili, before lunch salad after fifteen minutes multigrain 2 roti with dal and sabji . Before dinner salad then millet rice with vegetables and dal dinner after six weeks morning between sugar level was 80 to 100 after lunch 134, 124 , means below 140 Soaking millets is compulsory
