I think the hardest thing about reversing myopia is the lifestyle adjustment. Modern society is predominantly set up for close vision. Modern life is staring at screens, books and papers in rooms for hours rather than looking out into the distance.

People don't change their lifestyle either once they have gotten their first glasses, that's why their myopia gets worse.
@ericsilva74308 ай бұрын
That is why you need to use Plus; there are only two ways to completely fix myopia: spend massive amounts of time outside or push your eyes toward getting farsighted using Plus. If all that close-up on a screen is using plus, you might even get very farsighted to the point where you start having problems reading without glasses like me. i start with -1.50 on both eyes; now, Dr., give me reading glasses. At least my distance vision is great now.

If possible upload better quality video as the slides are blurry even at 1080p, thanks. Easy way to reduce myopia. When you get your prescription, ask the optometrist to get you to 20/30 not 20/20. Using -2.00 as an example prescription for 20/20..... It should be 0.25 lower example, instead of -2.00, get -1.75. For computer use about 3 feet away, use 1 less, ex use -1.00. For TV use about 6 feet away you can use an in between -1.50 or use the computer glasses and deal with a little blur. Zenni is a great place to get affordable frames and lenses. I recommend the oleophobic coating with no blue blocking. Don't rush it, I've gone down 0.25 every year for a few years.

@@ericsilva7430what do u mean? Like getting plus glasses? How does that help tho?
@ericsilva74308 ай бұрын
@@E.rw1n_77 Minor lenses (distance glasses) induce more myopia. Plus, lenses (reading glasses) induce you to become more farsighted and have less myopia. Glasses actually make what you are trying to fix get worse, so to fix myopia, using Plus helps. Using minus makes things worse. Animal studies show this: plus makes animals go farsighted, and minus makes them go nearsighted. If you remove the lens, animal eyes go back to normal/neutral. So reading with Plus is the best way to protect your eyes from myopia. minus is a quick fix that destroys your eyes.

Try the same process but the opposite, so if you're currently relying on reading glasses with plus lenses, buy a weaker prescription and move the text closer to you until you get to the edge of blur, move it a bit closer and train reading the text like that, see if it improves and you become able to read closer and closer instead of further and further as with myopia, then progress to weaker plus lenses

I think you make an attribution error in thinking that myopia has to do with near-work. We now know that myopia has to do with dopamine. The diet and exercise part you mention at 11:32 is probably the most crucial factor: have you ever seen any student being taught standing? No: they always have to sit, and for long hours, hence the deregulation of insulin. You yourself Todd were able to cure your myopia not because of plus lenses, but because you practice intermittent fasting. In France, a girl called Marie-Camille says she has completely cured her myopia with 4-days fasting and changes in her diet.

it could be real, since diuretic drugs tend to increase premature presbyooia (maybe by draining fluids also from the eyes), and presbyopia uses to counter act myopia. Fasting has a similar mechanism of removing inflamation from the tissues

I don’t see the astigmatism though, I have an idea what it is but I cannot see it in the left eye! When I squint my eyes I see some vertical lines from the light sources but in both eye. Idk what happening rn! I will get my glasses tomorrow, I hope my diopters are still the same as 2 days ago 😢😢😊
