Thanks for the video. I bleach stained a sweatshirt and this was a perfect fix 😊

I did this with a black poly/cotton hoodie and instead of using runner bands, I juts scrunched up the hoodie in my bath tub and sprayed the bleach. The lack of rubber bands made cool, bigger jagged shapes. The polyester also stopped it from fading any longer, so you don't have to worry about it being different shades of orange. 👍

This is exactly what I'm looking for. I have a lavender sweatshirt, that I want to dye eggplant, but I want some streaks of the Laender in there. Thank you!

Hi! Love this! I’ve had trouble with the Gildan brand. The bleach didn’t take much color out at all when I’ve done it. Any recommendations or thoughts on what I could be doing wrong?
@SarahVanderkooy Жыл бұрын
I would say choose a dark shirt, lighter colors don't work as well. Make sure it is 100% cotton, Gildan does make a cotton blend shirt too but it won't work as well. And be sure it's really soaking wet before starting the process. That will help the bleach sink in. It will always look better when it's dry too, sometimes it's hard to tell when the shirt is wet if it really worked. Hope that helps, good luck!

Hello, can we reuse hydrogen peroxide solution again and again several times?
@thatjuliagirl Жыл бұрын
@ummeaymangohil5251 I was told that it can't be used more than once. I'm assuming due to the chemical reaction that occurs when the peroxide neutralizes the bleach but I'm not a chemist lol

Could you do this with black dye instead of the bleach?
@eliserediuk6 ай бұрын
I just made it, but I did it on dry, so I could see the color changing, but u didn't let set for the 10min or so. I rinse right away. Will it not be good? 🥺 and if I don't like it once it dries, can I repeat? Thank you

do you have to use the peroxide or can you just stick it on a wash to get the bleach off?
@SarahVanderkooy3 ай бұрын
The peroxide is helpful, but if you wash it right away that should do that trick too.

Can you reuse the hydrogen peroxide solution if you are bleaching multiple items or should each piece have it’s own neutralizer?
@SarahVanderkooy6 ай бұрын
I have not tired it with more than 1. I think you could for at least a few, at some point the solution will lose it's effect.

Do i need to use hydrogen peroxide?
@SarahVanderkooy11 ай бұрын
You don't need to, it's an optional steps that helps the bleach stop working before you wash the shirt.
