it worked but all the levels i had saved had all their objects set back to 1.0 scale, making a lot of them unplayable. i had made a backup beforehand so its not a big deal but i cant find anyone else having or even talking about this problem. is this something thats unavoidable when downgrading or is there something i can do to stop it?

I think if you use the bigger scaling it probably messes with the levels. You could also upload the levels to gd's servers and then copy them in 2.1. I believe it should work, but I'm not sure.

nah even objects that were something like .9 scale got reset to 1.0 and the game doesnt let me download levels that were uploaded/updated in 2.2@@Arcticgdnmore

you dont lose the ball, and you cant keep it in the depot folder because it needs to be in the gd folder to actually run. (there might be a way around this, but when I tested it there wasnt)

two options: 1. delete all files then uninstall and reinstall the game 2. if you made a backup of 2.2, just swap the files with the 2.2 files both have the same result, no data will be lost either way.

@fnscript @TheBlissFulVoid it's all the same as the video, but instead of choosing 2.1, choose the version before 2.206, which is 2.204, released in January 2024, you copy the code to the console and it'll work just fine

@@vulblhotdiessfi Maybe you're doing it wrong, remember that first is the game's code, then the platform's code (Windows or Mac) and lastly, the version's code, which is 2.204 the one you gotta choose And you have to wait a lot, because the update is heavy and takes a while, for example, for me it lasted 1 hour aprox. So check if you're doing it correctly, and if it starts downloading just be patient
