You DO produce high quality content, you produce more valuable content than a lot of “bigger” youtubers in your niche even. I have been watching your videos for a few years now and I think what I see is your strength of consistency can also be your weakness. You tend to do a lot of the same types of videos which is great for your niche but not to expand your viewership. However, judging by your nature you seem like you could benefit from niching down even more. I’m not a KZbin expert so I really don’t know. But know that your content IS of high quality and valued and still changing so many lives! It’s hard to hear you be so hard on yourself. We love you Michelle!!!
@iranouchka4 жыл бұрын
What I like about the 'repetitive' content is that it feels authentic because there are recurring themes that feel true to Michelle, rather than feeling like she's jumping on the many KZbin bandwagons. Also it makes it more likely that I'll actually put her advice into practice than if she constantly threw new stuff at me ;) anyway I second Trish, we love you Michelle!

Hello, I found your channel not long ago, and let me tell you something. Maybe your content is cotton candy for some but it is rare when I re-watch and binge-watch a channel but I do that with yours. You are such a delight to watch. Please don't make huge changes in regards to your content because it is very enjoyable and motivating! Perhaps, you are being too hard on yourself saying that you are not where you want to be, I think you are exactly where you want to be, you are such a hard worker! Thank you for your hard work and I wish you a very successful and happy New Year!

You've just made me realize that even though 2020 was AWFUL (apart from being locked in my house for 7 months here in Melbourne, with mental health issues that started end of last year, my dad was also diagnosed with terminal cancer) I actually did also accomplish a lot of unexpected things... I lost half of the weight I want to lose in general (without much effort, which is encouraging!), I've learned and improved some skills that all up add up to a lot more gained this year than last year. Turns out it wasn't _just_ awful. Thank you for reminding me!

I write a literal 30 page book of yearly reflections. I highly recommend you put these questions and other questions that reflect personally to you eg "did I reach my financial goals for 2020? How, or why not?", Or "what made my soul come alive this year?" Etc etc. into a document you can access to review each year. This makes it easier to do your reflection each year, or more often.

I love your idea of intentions for the year with quarterly goals. I just did a reflection of the goals I set for the year last year. I didn’t accomplish many of them. But just from some of the things I journaled about where I could tell how I felt about myself and where my mental state was I’ve made a lot of progress. I’m writing those intentions down this year - the intangibles that aren’t a singular goal but make a big impact on your life. Thanks for helping to illuminate that!

For what it’s worth, I love your videos for the organizational guidance, the motivational, habit book reviews. The way you breakdown how to organize your life and reach your goals is wonderful. Also, I love them for accountability, so I love the “yearly” schedule of your videos to help me stay on track throughout the year. Hello, this year I tried to follow your process to close 2020 and set intentions for 2021 (I did it last year and the year before), but I felt all the positive, negative, lessons, everything was just all mixed up within me. So I did a big brain dump. I feel I'm in a better place now to sort through it all. Your videos in past years have helped me and enlightened me so much; however, this year I've watched fewer of them. (though I did re-watch some favorites of mine of your past videos). I love when you've read something and made it your own and then bring those ideas to us as a real life experience and true guide on how to implement them in our own lives.

You still make great quality content vids but I get what you are saying. You are growing as a person and with that growth, you will have the desire for things around you to grow with you. Do not be hard on yourself. Growth is a beautiful thing and in time you will find what you want to do with this page and the content. In 2020 I went with intentions instead of goals since it was a hard year in many ways. While I did not accomplish all of my intentions I did meet the huge and time-consuming top 3 intentions that took all year to accomplish. I am ready for the New Year. Enjoy your break and have a great start to the new year!

I have really enjoyed this series. It’s helped me start wrapping my mind around what I want to accomplish in this coming werk and next year. I definitely need to do the intentional break thing more as well. Hello, I have been watching your content for quite a while. I really enjoy it. I like that you are not forcing too many deals or clicks etc. I like the video editing and the content and the way you interpret certain thoughts or ideas from other people. I also like you share your mistakes or when you are not sure. In comparison to Ali Abdaal I feel like you still work hard and thinking about the content and not repeating yourself or talking too much fuff just for the sake of another video. One thing I would appreciate is to take longer when you talk about the resets in Notion or the way you handle certain programs. I understand the start, but then get lost because you quickly jump ahead and I can't make the connection between the two. So yeah more of this but detailed still in small bits videos. Merry Christmas. P.S. You are doing better than you think!

@LiveStrongAndHealthy4 жыл бұрын
When I journal I do it in different ways depending on how much time and energy I have. On busy days I just make sure to jot down the date and anything from that day I want to remember in the future. I also include one thing I am grateful for that day or something fun that happened or even just something that made me feel happy for even a moment. That way I can go back and see what things bring me joy that I may not even realize. When I have the time I also like to make this a moment of me-time where I drink some hot tea, relax, and just enjoy the act of writing and clearing out my brain before bed. However, I must say I love writing and have journaled since I was 9 so it's something that brings me joy most days. If you do not enjoy it then do not force yourself to do it.
