Here's "how to ride a septa bus" in my area: Step 1) get to bus stop early to be safe so you don't miss the bus Step 2) wait for quite a while until you begin to realize "it's late".. Step 3) Look up Septa real time to track where bus is: just to find out YOUR BUS ISN'T EVEN RUNNING Step 4) Call work for the 30th time explaining why you'll be late once again, and plead with boss to let you keep your job bcz your boss is becoming extremely aggravated with the ongoing situation Step 5) Get the next bus/next time slot bus. Tell boss you're next anticipated arrival time. Wait for it, and find it to be always late (due to now having abt twice as many passengers to stop for- from all the previous ppl who are in the same situation as you) Step 6) Explain to boss/plead to keep your job once more, apologizing for being doubly late now Step 7) (Which I no longer do, due to it being useless and changes nothing) call and complain to Septa Step 8) wonder how on earth a government run state service is constantly understaffed. Especially since it's once where a large percentage of the workforce which fuels our economy is dependent on

It even slows down the men and women who check the passes. Previously it was a quick glance to see if you had the pass. Now... its "pull out the big device. Wait for service. swipe one card. wait to have it clear. then go on to the next card holder". its honestly a waste as they even STILL have people guarding the gates for entry.

Speaking as a New Yorker, I used to love tokens. They were like our own New York City currency. When I worked as a supermarket cashier, we used to accept them for payment; and, if a customer saw them in a cashier's drawer and requested them, we'd give them out as change.

I feel like the key card works nicely on the buses and the el, but man it's an awful system on the trains. Convoluted and make no sense.

0:39 - It says that you can also pay on the bus using exact change of $2.50. Does this mean that it is required to be in all coins? Or are dollar bills accepted?
@Machodave20204 жыл бұрын
Dollars are excepted.

Grab the overhead grip or sit down immediately because the bus driver will hit the gas the second you get on.

Do a video on how to get on/off septa buses using a motorized scooter. Today will be my client's first time using his scooter on the bus and we are both clueless. Does he drive on going forward or drive on in reverse???😔

Are you sure it isn’t a Septa bus?
@jpshk33 жыл бұрын
@@superagent1161 new Flyer is a company that manufactures buses, not an actual bus system. So yes they are new Flyer and septa.
