@@streetdreamz8056 Yessir, that was me. You remembered! I've come along way since then but I'm still learning and learn something everyday. I'm very comfortable now with the clutch. My Ninja 636 is still in the shop like I mentioned but for now I ride around in an SV650 and a V-Strom 650 which are a lot of fun. I still need to practice low speed maneuvering/turns and such as that's still something that I badly need improvement on. Ride safe bro!

@@streetdreamz8056 bro I have a question. What would cause the bike not to want to get into gear. Like it didn’t want to get into neutral. Did I do something wrong? Or can it be something with the clutch cable ? The bike is used I got it with 49k miles. Idk if I got a messed up bike.. anything will help bro i appreciate you

@@secureyourdreamz So it wont shift to first gear or neutral? do you hear it clicking into gear when you try? and does the bike start up and run when your holding the clutch down? its a pretty old bike could be the shifter itself
@streetdreamz80566 ай бұрын
@@secureyourdreamz neutral is a half a click up from 1st gear. its in between 1st and 2nd gear

@@streetdreamz8056 I couldn’t get it to turn on because of the fact that I couldn’t get the bike to get in neutral. I kept trying. Do you think it can be the key? The key is kind of bent and I have to finagle it so it can turn, but even so.. I took the key out and after 15 mins or so I tried again and it finally went into N and I was able to turn it on

Nice...i just got a 2016 ZX6R KRT Edition and i was trying to see what shift ranges were being used on this bike. I have always used the sound/speed of the bikes to determine the gear. So far i am loving this bike. Ride safe.

yeah shift ranges is all about the type of rider you want to be.. they change based on that but if you just want to chill and enjoy the ride.. this style is perfect for you. thanks for watching and you be safe too💯🤙🏽

Now in 2024 the quickshifter is added by default. So the left paddle is for what ?
@streetdreamz8056 Жыл бұрын
the 2024 zx6r is the first bike that allows for upshifting and downshifting without clutch. You still have to use clutch everytime you come to a stop and starting off in 1st gear
@streetdreamz8056 Жыл бұрын
also you still have to pull in the clutch as you come to a stop or the bike will stall

How is the bike for daily riding enjoying it? Maybe riding it for like 1-2 hours a day. I've heard your back can hurt, but what has your experiences with it in terms of comfortablility
@streetdreamz80568 ай бұрын
I will say its not bad at first start each ride but me personally need to stop every hour to hour 1/2 to rest my knees wrist and ass.😂 as long as you take breaks throughout the day its not bad to use as a daily. not at all

What rpm range would you suggest for downshifting
@streetdreamz8056 Жыл бұрын
With shifting up i would say 8k to 9k and as long as your not exceeding max rpm between gears. you will be able to downshift any gear.. check out my part 2 of this video on shifting

@@streetdreamz8056 thanks man last thing is quick shifter is working when changing gear from 1st to 2nd? Or 2nd to 3rd gear or up it only works
@forevergodsgirl69178 ай бұрын
so when you talk about not exceeding the RPM when downshifting- how do you know you’re not exceeding the specific RPM limit of the last gear you were in?? is that the 8,000, or is that something different for each gear?
@streetdreamz80568 ай бұрын
its 8k for every gear change.. by the time you get to 5th gear using 8k to gear change you'll be right around 100mph using this method.. (side note) 2nd gears max rpm can hit 100mph alone. so by you being in 5th gear theres plently of room to drop down because your not exceeding 2nd gears max rpm speed of 100mph
@streetdreamz80568 ай бұрын
by using this 8k method youll essentially be able to downshift through any gear without any issue..
