2:45 kudos Blake putting your body on the line and catching on film the mechanics of how a leg gets caught between the handlebars and the top bar EVERY FREAKIN TIME i go over the bars. Hats off that's worth a beer whenever you make it to West Australia. +1 for every time it saves me from getting caught like that again!

It’s awesome how much moto is related to biking. I started biking when I got to college and couldn’t bring my dirt bike haha. A definite learning curve getting used to my body being the power plant and the difference in balance having pedals and not pegs. Mtbs are a lot lighter on the front so I found myself slipping the front wheel a lot 😂😂 but now when I come home from school I definitely have a lot more control with my dirtbike in ruts. This video is kind of cool because it’s something you have to learn with moto and I think it’s one of the best parts, always more to learn with technique though. Cool video!

Cast comes off tomorrow and hopefully only another 6 weeks until I can get back out on the trails properly! I (and probably other female riders) would like to see a video every now and then, here or on GMBN Tech in regards to bikes with "female" geometry and the difference between female bikes and unisex or mens' bike, female clothing, tech etc

Louise Moore Good idea. As a 5’8” slim man I feel more at one with the bike on a woman’s bike. Not sure why. Lower centre of gravity, wider seat and narrower bars were suggested by my local bike shop. I’ve tried commuter bikes and mtbs and can throw them around for fun.

You guys should do a video on how to bail... I want to improve my riding skills but am afraid to push too far and get hurt on a nasty fall. I'm sure there are tips you guys have that can instill confidence in riders like me.
@swankysnail5 жыл бұрын
I think Seth bike hacks has done a how to bail video. Best thing hands down for confidence though is just ride your bike as much as often and it will come. In the event of an "oh crap this is going badly" In my experience, just ignore the bike and save your self. A lot of people make it worse by trying to hang on to the bike etc but honestly I think I'd rather pay £300 on new fork stanchions (worst case scenario that i could think of) than have a broken arm and not be able to ride for 4 months or more.

@@gmbnFirst, I am fan of your content, I apology my self if may I sounded disrespectful. I never expected my music taste matched into every video, however you may try something more neutral, the audio experience may turn a good audio-visual work into an unbearable junk. I don't remember been upset about the BGM of any your previous videos, this time was very distasteful and annoying, my personal point of view of course. My best regards.

#askgmbn Hey guys, i bought a new Canyon Torque. I got this bike today. This is my first air sprung fork. And i have a few questions about my Rockshox Lyrik. When i have no weight on the bike the bike sit at 5% sag already. How do I get this to 0% like it is supposed to. And on the fork it has a sticker for how much psi is needed for what weight. So at my weight it should be 65 psi. But if i go and sit on the bike with that psi I get around 40% sag. 100 psi results in 20% sag with my 68kg. I dont really get it.. Maybe you guys can explain?
@adambcvg5 жыл бұрын
Have a look in the back of your canyon manual - my spectral had different pressures in there than on the fork. Also don't forget to cycle compress the shock to equal the chamber pressures when you change them.
