Railblaza has a video for a modification but you can’t buy the part online. I also searched to see if anyone has 3D printed a part, no luck. I will add that to my design list. However, your approach is excellent. I’m going to give a try. THANKS! I was just finishing modifying my canoe for fishing and was down to the transducer mount and went WTH. Thanks again

thanks for video. Im wondering with the platform where is the knob of the railblaza adgester r lock that sits beneath it? I cant see a knob so how it stays in place tight enough?

Assume your just using up parts you have as there is an easier way. The addition of the platform will add more drag I would think and be harder to use at higher speeds - you could just use this next time - let us know if you need one, I know a guy - kzbin.info/www/bejne/q2OrpGNvmr2boqs

Good video there! Thanks for the offer, that definitely looks like a great way to do it. Your right I had some extra parts here and made due with what I had but it works very well too and I would think its a little faster to put in and out of the yak. Gotta love railblaza! .
