What’s even better with this style bait - no weight. Bass Assassin makes a similar lure (same name) and the weightless action is crazy. With no tail or heavy mid-section it darts around like crazy just a few inches below the surface. Snook go nuts for that style retrieve. Big trout too.

plastics rig ned rig? There’s no noise, rattle, or vibration. Fish need to see the ned rig or smell it. Not sure it qualifies as a lure. Fishing soft plastics or jig heads was all we talked about in past 10 years. Now they are lures and plugs

The Ned rig is soft plastic though. And if you used a Ned rig head this would probably look amazing honestly. And there are scents for the smell
