Thank you for producing this video would you mind going over the different types of rebreathers or what the different parts of the system i.e. bailout bottle I think I know but would be good to hear from an experience rebreather diver

It’s not a handle... it’s there to help you route your hoses under the elastic bands.

Thank you for doing this video! So many people run their bailouts such that the bottom of the tanks points either straight up or at a 45 to their body 😂😂😂. It drives me insane seeing such horrible rigging. The bailout should be streamlined and horizontal with your body just like in sidemount. Fundamentals in diving are important.

While I want to try scuba diving eventually, I am absolutely terrified of the rebreathers. No matter how much research I do I still can't seem to understand how exactly they work. It may just be me, but then again I have exactly zero training in this so my knowledge on the subject other than what I have read online is completely null X3.

Hi Jake, Like cars, the different makes and models of rebreathers can range from very complex to extraordinarily simple. Regardless of brand, the concept of a rebreather is fairly simple.

Not to nitpick, but that is a loop bungee, not a continuous. A continuous bungee would be a single strand with small bolt snaps on both ends, running continuously across your back from one side to the other. Then clipped off to both chest d rings. Good video though! Happy diving!

Unfortunately, the adjustable bungee system is a product which is retired by dive rite. I like the idea however.
