This is helpful. I think I get stuck in an “all or nothing” mindset when it comes to roams. I either give up a full wave cuz the timing looks good in bot lane, or I stay mid trying to shove the wave while my bot lane is getting destroyed. With this vid, makes it clear to weigh out the pros and cons of a roam, where sometimes it’s ok to give up a wave if you’ll get more value (xp, gold, win con) out of the roam. So I’ll be focusing on trying to take valuable roams in my games. Thanks for making this vid !

Literaly after watching this video I go 27-2-7 with Talon. Literally stomp lane and snowball the rest of the game, leaving my rival laner 3 levels behind and helping other lanes, even the jungler. Your videos really help, keep on the great job dude!

I find the most important thing in the whole game when it comes to roaming. PRIORITY, what is the talon gonna do when a wave is constantly under his tower? What are you gonna do if the orianna and jungler is gonna bully you to death when you even attempt a roam? Can't roam without prio. Simple trick, when u have prio. ALWAYS fake roam on a pink or known unwarded place. Only go for plates if you see enemy jungle/are covered by your jungler or enemy laner is absent.

Your guides kick ass, dude! They've made all the difference for me lately. Been doing way better! Question about midlane: lately I've seen a ton of kats and akalis building divine sunderer. Do you think assassins going bruiser is going to be the way of it or do you think it's just a lingering side effect of the new patches that'll go away?

I think divine was already the best Mythic on Kat even before the patch so I don't expect that to go away. I do think the AP builds on Akali are better though and I haven't seen pretty much any divine akali in higher elo.

Agree a lot with what Cruncix said, I haven't played much Talon so I wouldn't be able to make a guide on him, but there's a lot of the more niche champions that I should do vod reviews on to help people understand it a bit more even if it's not a full guide

Great video man, really clear and concise. Noticed that you played a lot of competitive games, how did u get into the pro scene in OCE and what would you recommend for someone if they wanted to get into the scene, focus on soloq or tryouting for a lot of teams?

Yeah focus on getting your soloq up to a high rank, you start getting noticed for academy/main leagues if you're 1k LP + in my experience. I was high rank for a pretty decent amount of time before I got my first expressions of interest from teams

I know you labled roaming a laning fundamental, but how important would you say it really is to learn roaming? Atm I am one tricking Annie at Plat and never in my games did I once roam. The reasoning is, that relying too much on roams would (in my eyes) hinder the progress on other fundamentals and I did not want to pick it up until Diamond. Would you say that this is a bad idea? But great content, I really enjoy your videos.

I'd say it's just as important as any other fundamental. You can ignore it to focus on other ones for now, but eventually it would be beneficial to learn for sure. I think focusing on other stuff until to reach diamond is absolutely fine.

I mean you no disrespect but league is such a cool versatile game that you can climb just by all inning on a powerful scaling character with a simple kit. I would benefit from that but I get so bored. Shok's content is really the best mid lane content on KZbin and he's a saint for providing it. Good luck with your climb

Sometimes I'll be even and the enemy crashes a wave towards me, I'll clearly see the enemy moving bot because of my good wards placement. I will spam ping my botlane and shove my wave under their turret, all that to have my botlane ignoring my pings and engaging a 2v2 with unknown enemy jungler and midlaner roaming bot. What should I do? Give up minions to make sure my bot has a chance to win or keep playing the way I feel is the smartest for me....
