Viral Zero I know your feeling. Sadly, I am from Czech Republic - a country that was ruled by communists, and as you might guess, nobody supported skateboarding here back then. Only "skateparks" we have in my area are those, that were build after the communist regime has fallen, when all the Western things were suddenly flowing into our country. And those look like this i936.photobucket.com/albums/ad208/lioncityskaters/LCSjurongwestblk849skatepark4.jpg - The only ridable parks are small and 20+ km far away - not worth the money for the bus. Sorry for the wall of text. :)

@brailleskateboarding Жыл бұрын
Slide backwards? You need to lean back more it sounds like. Center your weight with the transition in mind not the flat top if that makes sense
@andrewbrandmeyer7602 Жыл бұрын
@@brailleskateboarding I think it is a balance or distribution of weight issue because when my wheels come back into the ramp, I slide ride down. Think falling backwards during a drop in. Cheers and thanks for the reply! I'll be right back at it tomorrow morning!

Anybody got any tips for st skaters trying to look after knees..I never did gnarly stairs or drops just flat land tricks.

yup mean. Will do. It is a lot of strain on the old knees but it something barely talked about in skating threads.
@Oxcilic8 жыл бұрын
The better way to learn is just drop in and ride out of the other side while staying on your board. When you do that you've already done half the trick. Then find a gentle bank or volanco to practice the dropping back in part. Then take it to a little quarter. Easiest thing ever if you are smart about learning it.

I just got the rock to fakie down. I haven't tried the rock n roll yet. You need a decent amount of speed. Keep a good center of gravity, not to far forward or backward, and you really need to keep in mind that when you get the trick down, you will feel much better. It's kind of a rock n roll without the kick turn.

In my opinion bs rock n rolls are a lot easier than a rock to fakie. Before you start learning coping tricks you have to be very comfortable on riding a skateboard in a ramp, meaning you need to kick turn every time you are close to the coping. Being comfortable with kickturns means a rock and roll will become a lot easier.
