The way you teach is so unconventional to standard roller skate teaching methods, your way of teaching really addresses the bare basics of the movement and ensures a more fluid movement with better grasp of momentum. Appreciate your tutorials!

Thank you!! I’m never sure if my methods will help or not lol but it’s good to hear that they do.

Great tutorial been trying to understand the turnaround with your knees inward and you made it so clear. Subbed and liked looking forward to watching more of your tutorials and other videos! Skate on!

I'm a beginner and I got the "feel" of this before the video was over. Very easy to understand and follow. I have a few months of working on this to look 1/2 as smooth as DW but this is a great start

Thank you for the details about which muscles to squeeze! It’s so important and usually not added to videos :)

The grapevine has been my nemesis for like forever… saying about using those inner thigh muscles, I’ve actually levelled up my progress to smooth. Thanks from the UK 👍

Thank you so much for the moves to get use to doing to prepare for practicing the "grapevine". I used to practice this move several years ago but forgot recently. So I notice that as I flow/roll backward, I squeeze my knees together along with the thigh muscle squeezes to help me stop. I completely forgot these two flow movements. Thank you! Thank you for sharing. I'm new and I'm learning alone. The backward part is the harder. When I close my legs I'm going backward instead of forward. I don't get it.

I'm having a lot of trouble standing on my toes in that "A" stance. Is there a good way to practice this? I feel like I'm just going to fall forward. I can stand on my toes in a staggered stance pretty ok but that's about it.

haveyou launched your kickstarter yet? What kind of skates would you recommend to learn your style of Jam skating for a beginner?
@JayDutch-UK-MK4 ай бұрын
great video, i am always seeing toe stops as annoying. i changed to round caps but still get in the way, getting jam plugs next. is there a list of moves that can be done with them ?

Can someone please explain what manuals are?? Does it have to do with movement on your toe wheels??
@catw94782 жыл бұрын
I’m pretty sure it’s what you call balancing on either one toe and one heel or both toes. Either way, you’re only one one pair of wheels per foot
