Everything you said is correct except for the fact that, I joked with her every time, even during serious topics (the only exception to this is jokes about her religion, which she disliked) and I was still able to romance her. It was actually well written, at first she barely laughed at my jokes, but than, the more I joked, the more openly and heartily her laughter became… it was like she learned to laugh at things with me.

There's a UC Sysdef/Crimson Fleet mission on SY920, and if you can bring her with you, some checkpoint guard before verifying your ID asks if you are two together, and she awkwardly replies: "Yes... We are... together." Also hates New Atlantis's NAT for being too crowded, and New Atlantis for many unfamiliar faces lol

No spoilers, but you do not have to kill at that critical moment late in the affinity process. You are absolutely correct that Andreja requires accountability and justice, but there's an option in there that accomplishes that without killing.

I don't understand why they haven't included an affinity bar for companions. Its infuriating not knowing how high/low they are and what things are affecting them. Like i haven't done much of the main quest, ive been doing side stuff, so i really only have Sarah and Vasco but occasionally Sarah will get pissed that ive stole something and I'm worried it takes her affinity down. Or does it only count when a "X liked/hates that" or whatever message shows up? Some of the obvious missing QoL things really are strange that they aren't there. Bethesda have made enough of these games to know that things like telling you how many of an item you already have in your inventory/cargo before you buy more in a store should be included. You can't compare a companions armour to another set either, if you try it compares to the set you're wearing rather than theirs. Moving all the stuff in your ship to the cargo hold when ever you make any changes to its build is infuriating too. All my weapons i have in the ships armoury, all the saved food and healing items in the kitchen, hell even every plate, cup, book etc randomly lying around ends up in the cargo hold. I only upgraded my ship weapons, or changed the engine! Despite all this ive put over a hundred hours in, still haven't finished the "Old Neighborhood" quest and I'm loving every minute of it. Really wish they'd improve the inventory management though, fix some UI stuff and just generally make things not as clunky. Like having food and meds be separate sections, have a "add to loot" button for stuff you plan to sell and ffs LET ME KNOW HOW MUCH OF A RESOURCE I HAVE IN STORAGE WHILE SHOPPING!😂😂😂

so right after she agreed to follow me, I decided to go looking for a place to make an outpost. (e.g. No affinity built up yet.) A random "unknown location" encounter spawned a miner when we left a cave. I decided to try and pickpocket him and got caught. oopsies. I shot him as he was running away. (got him in the backpack. To speed up Companion affinity, get the "Empath" trait at character creation and also focus on the "Leadership" perk. First level increases Companion affinity by like 15% or so.

This right here is actually the best advice you can get, it's all but impossible to fuck up romancing companions in SF short of mass murder, it's all just down to how fast they give you their "I love you now" mission. This and take paramor before evert conversation.

You can also use the booster in the aids section called "paramour" every time you do a conversation event where your companion either likes or dislikes your conversation choices. Paramour boosts companion affinity for 10 minutes. Stock up on it.

She is definitely one tough act to follow.. what I'm excited about, and this is just speculation and rumors.. shattered space should be out this fall.. with no specific release date. I think she's going to play an important role, or at least give some kind of insight to the nature of House Va'Ruun.. I've played very little of this game because I don't really have access to it.. but I've been watching at least a metric ton of videos.. I've seen this game from start to finish, I have to say she is one of my favorite characters.. because she is just so mysterious, we don't know much about her background end of what little she says, and it takes a lot of trust to build with her to get her to open up about House Va'ruun. But I think there's going to be a lot of benefits to those who romance Andreja. Especially with shattered space coming out, I could be wrong so don't quote me. But I think she's going to be a big benefit and give you a lot of perspective. Tell me what you guys think.

When you do it at the right time she'll actually mention that its in her nature to avoid getting close and push people away becuase her past made her believe every close thing she gets fall apart. Thats why if you flirt before that time, it will fail...the game will give you an obvious time and place to finally romance her but until that point, dont bother flirting.

Best companion period. Spoiler warning for those who haven't passed the halfway point for Constellation, the companion with the greatest affinity will always be the one you lose if you defend the lodge, if you go to the eye, you can save them. So, if you push the romance option early with Andreja and you want to stay with her for the rest of the gameplay, go to the eye. Fortunately for me I was married to Sarah, I didn't know it but I chose to defend the Lodge and then found out she was killed. Now I am a few steps from getting married to Andreja and honestly IMO she is the best companion from Constellation. Sarah, Barrett and Sam are all pretty annoying in their own ways.

In my opinion the best companions are the adoring fan and Vasco, you can do anything you want while they’re with you and they don’t get mad at you. I spent all this time romancing Andrej, married her, then got a stupid bounty for someone SHE shot to protect me in a stealth mission (after she shot someone the whole mission went downhill and I had to shoot my way out also). She then got mad at me and left me, it was comical really. That girl has some SERIOUS baggage 😂. I’m done with these high maintenance companions, makes the game feel so limited to me.

For me during that quest I chose to not save the companion bc I wanted to make sure the people at the lodge were protected but I guess Sam was my highest affinity bc he was the one that died Cora was mad i didn’t blame her it was a sad portion of the game overall I didn’t mind Sam as a character and I knew I was switching to andreja once I got to her intro mission so I wasn’t too bummed but it was still sad to see Sam go

"Best companion" really depends on your play style. Vasco is perfect all around because he doesn't have affinity and doesn't care what you do. Barret doesn't mind you stealing or "borrowing". Sara, & Sam are goody two-shoes and annoying af. All I will say is there is a way for passive judgement to be given, and that still works. So there is a passive way for justice to be given for others who wanna avoid death like myself. I honestly think Starfield would have been less entertaining if I hadn't of found and courted Andreja. Andreja is awesome and was my initial pick anyway. Sarah's just ugly and was already complaining too much about everything. She liked or loved pretty much everything I did throughout my whole playthrough, except when I joined the Crimson Fleet, which I only did to spite the UC Security guy that rudely demanded I go undercover for him. Morally, she's pretty spot-on to how I play these games so she fit right in and I never used anybody else once she became an option.

She’s gotten annoying for me, I’m always walking on eggshells. If I do one thing wrong she gets pissed and no longer follows so I have to reload a previous save. Most of the time I have no clue what I did. The whole undercover for crimson stuff really gets their algorithms in a tizzy.

Do the freestyle collective missions rescue the hostage and untie the hostage she likes both that’s two likes permission. You can rinse and repeat these missions every couple of minutes.

I’ll be vague in order to not spoil anything but the person you “have to kill” mentioned in the video is false, you can easily not kill said person and it doesn’t negatively effect your relationship. Also if you took serpents embrace trait during character creation, use it every time in conversation with and around andreja, she has always liked or loved those options in my play through.

Possibly. Every time you do a major main mission every character that can follow you will want to talk about it. I never take Barret around but he always wants to talk. I've got Barret, Sam, Sarah, and Andreja as crew on my ship.

***SPOILERS AHEAD***: I tried to romance Andreja on my original universe before reaching unity, but she is so cold, I was always nice and kind and supportive to her and she wouldn't respond to that, it was annoying as hell. So I romanced Sarah on my original universe and I am about to romance Sam on my second, they are much more reasonable than her, I'll probably try to be with Barret on the next one and I'm pretty sure I won't have problems there, they are nicer than her, she is so unnecessarily hard to deal with, I hate that !

awesome, she seems to be bugged in my game. which is on of many i had: i did a talk, said something the liked, affinity got higher, iam out of the conversation, she says "i would like to talk to you, if you have time, im reminded of how different our work at constellation is compared to what iam used to" if i then try to talk to her, she says "this is harder then i expect" followed by "iam sorry, my head is swimming" both outside a conversation animation and then she just reapets "my head is swimming" over and over everytime i press e on her.

yeah that was nice, general, and spoiler free... i thought 6 minutes would be too short of a video and i was right. more SPECIFIC problems and solutions and examples would be much more helpful. although, it is a good overview of the character and how to make the 'good' choices yourself while romancing her.
