I am not able to skip the WiFi setup when trying to unlock the boot loader no matter how many times I factory reset it. Any ideas? Thanks

I'd really like to know how you got the Verified Boot Signer to work. Everytime I try it, it looks exactly like yours does until it gets to "Verifying signed boot image", after which it says "Abort: verification failed. Updater process ended with ERROR: 1 Error installing zip file '/sdcard/VerifiedBootSigner-v8.zip'. I can't continue with rooting if I can't permanently install TWRP. ;_;

I'm currently following these instructions word forward and I'm running into the same situation as you are where I can do fastboot boot and then what I do is I dragged my twrp.img file directly into my terminal, so I get it's full directory, boot into twrp, but can't get twrp to stay permanently installed. I can only boot to it in the initial adb boot

If you have a Verizon Pixel, you cannot root your phone using that method. You need to search "How to root google pixel 1 verizon"

I mounted twrp 3.3.1-3-marlin.img which is the newest one but it didnt seem to work with twrp installer 3.3.0-0-marlin. So I then tried to boot 3.3.0-0-marlin and now where the zip files were is a bunch of random numbers and letters files.
