That's brilliant. Any idea if the same can be done with the 8 seater Toyota estima? Because a 2012 Hybrid Estima 8 seater I viewed yesterday is v similar layout 🤔

Yes and no. It depends on the model. The giveaway is the little lap belt seats. You will see them on the sides of the seats.

The alphard is a completely different beast. Speak to New Acre Cars. They will tell you all the options.

I believe the rotating middle seats are 10 series only.

Estima 2009 is there an interior boot release button or lever? If yes, where is it located?

I think they would be similar so no unless they have an electric boot raise option. Do check it though.

I have a 2006 MZ 7 seater with middle row leather Captains seats and foot rests. The seats don't rotate. I will be removing the footrests to check if that makes a difference. I do not expect it too as I believe there is no reversing mechanism built into these seats. I do have two single non Captain (non matching leather) seats which do rotate and have the lap belts. I have not decided what to do yet as I do want the middle seats reversed in my rear conversion. Wish me luck.

You need more info that that. Both chairs or one chair etc. furthest seats or middle row.

Unfortunately no. This is only available in the non facelift 10 series. Someone correct me if I’m wrong.

Sometimes they may need a little jiggle to release them.

Check the rails too. Sometimes things can jam in there also remember that not all seats rotate. There are some with footrests that will not rotate. Also, only series 10 rotate as far as I know.

I am having a problem 0n my 2007 alphard swiveling the seat behind the drivers seat it just will not rotate I have tried everything the other seat the single one is fine no problem any idea's would very appreciated

Rock it back and forth to free it. Check also for any obstacles in the tracks.
